Just got home and unloaded from the race in Coldwater. The weather almost, I repeat almost snuffed us out, but we were able to get in the race. We had a fairly decent turn out, running 14 stock sanders and 8 modifieds. Many sanders are faithful racers who follow our races, however, we did indoctrinate 4 new racers with sanders we brought along (one of which won 1st. in modified class) and two locals showed up with sanders out of their own work shops.
As luck would have it, I failed to take my camera and did not get any photo's of the race, nor did I get any of the winning racers/sanders. If anyone got any shots, I would appreciate it if you could forward them to me so I can post them on the site.
Now, down to the results:
Modified Class 1 - Polka Fast - Maggie Christopher - Phoenix Arizona 2 - Nail Bender - Steve Jurosic - New Knoxville, Ohio 3 - Dr. Pepper - Faith Lugihl - Lima, Ohio
Stock Class 1 - Mad Rat - Logan Shirk - Wapakoneta, Ohio 2 - General Lee - David Masonbrink - St.Marys, Ohio 3 - Bert - Steve Jurosic - New Knoxville, Ohio
Best of Show Destroyer - Seth Sarchet - Cridersville, Ohio
Thanks to those who came out, despite the possible rainy weather, and participated in this event. It is you who made this a successful and fun day. meb

Here are directions to the race for those of you that have told me that your coming. This is assuming that you'll be coming into Coldwater from the North on S.R.118.
Come south into town until you come to Vine St. Turn west on Vine St., and continue until you come to Elm St. Turn north onto Elm St. You will only be able to travel partially down this street as it will be blocked off. You can stop where they have it blocked off and unload your sanders. Were just past where the road will be blocked off, on the sidewalk beside the park. Once unloaded, you'll have to move your car as you won't be able to park where you unloaded. Look forward to seeing you there, Mike Baeumel
